First Will and I rode Dumbo. We have a couple of mixed feelings about the new ride, especially the wait. Adults waiting to ride have to wait inside the tent watching little ones play in the center. I guess it is suppose to be the atmosphere :-). I guess the children playing are supposed to be the little "Dumbo's?"
We rode Small World and the Haunted Mansion and then grabbed a quick bite at the Columbia Harbor House and headed to the Pirates if the Caribbean with absolutely no wait at all. We got right on the ride!
From there we headed to Big Thunder Mountain and waited about 10 minutes. This ride is much better at night.
As we traveled from Frontier Land to Tomorrowland we stopped on Main Street to watch the fireworks and caught the show on the castle. I want to go back and try to get better pictures along with video.
Later, we rode Buzz and finished up the night with Space Mountain.
We left around 12:30 as we had extra magic hours -- got back to the room around 1 am and I went straight to bed. The guys stayed up and are still sleeping! Oh well, we said we would relax more this trip.
Oh, I did manage to fit in a Dole Whip float too - so yummy!! And of course we made stops in the gift shops as we made our travels through the park (hoot).
